A large easy-to-read LCD shows detector life remaining, alarm setpoints, and peak alarm exposures. The detector's life remaining is displayed in months, days, then hours. A full-function self-test verifies sensor, circuitry and battery integrity as well as the function of the audible, visual and vibrator alarms. The GasAlertClip Extreme is equipped with two alarm setpoints used to activate a high output 95dB audible alarm, a bright, wide-angled quad LED visual alarm and a built-in vibrator alarm.
